Joe Terzi Transitions From Interim CEO of San Diego CVB to Full-Time
Joe Terzi, interim president & CEO of the San Diego CVB since March, has been selected as permanent president & CEO by the bureau's board of directors, effective immediately. Terzi, who won't be under contract with the CVB, was formerly a senior vice president for Starwood Hotels & Resorts until his retirement on January 1. He served on the bureau's board for 12 years and was its chairman in 2004. Terzi replaces David Peckinpaugh, who requested the bureau not extend his three-year contract beyond its expiration on June 30.
